Aircraft and engine aftermarket solutions provider, AerFin, has opened a new office in Singapore, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. With established offices in London Gatwick, Cardiff, Dublin, and Miami, this latest addition strengthens AerFin’s presence in one of the world’s leading aviation and aerospace hubs.
The Singapore office will be managed by Paul Ashcroft, AerFin’s newly appointed Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific. AerFin has maintained inventory in the Asia-Pacific region since 2016, recognizing the area’s expected fleet growth and the need to manage fleet retirements and transitions strategically. The company views this as an opportunity to further expand its operations and improve service for its regional customers.
Ashcroft expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m extremely honored to have this opportunity to launch AerFin’s new office in Singapore. Establishing a local presence, supported by multi-lingual talent and strategic inventory holdings, ensures we can better serve our regional clients, being alongside the customer, for the customer.”
Simon Goodson, AerFin’s Chief Executive, highlighted the importance of the move, stating, “This is another exciting milestone for AerFin, following the recent establishment of facilities in Dublin, Miami, and our soon-to-be global headquarters in Newport, South Wales. The key is being local and providing value beyond the expected for our customers, people, and planet.”
The Singapore office will allow AerFin to better support the needs of its growing client base in the Asia-Pacific region while reinforcing its global presence. With the aviation industry in Asia expected to experience continued growth, AerFin’s local presence is well-positioned to help manage fleet transitions and further cement its reputation as a leader in the aircraft and engine aftermarket sector.
